Biographical Information

We have enjoyed several decades of serving both university and college groups and congregations through our seminars and Staley lectureships. We continue to travel throughout North America and to the Black Sea for Romanian marriage and family conferencing--and to other destinations  that call us--including singles, conferences and marriage retreats.

At home a mile from Asbury Theological Seminary, we are studying "child development: in the most remarkable laboratory: hosting great grandchildren five days a week and celebrating God's good creation as we are amazed at God's grace through the generations.

Robbie is extending her career as an elementary schoolteacher and reading specialist, and Don expands his career observations as "professor of human development and family studies."

Don has lectured at more than thirty colleges and universities.  In 28 years he taught more than 3,000 graduate students at Asbury Seminary who were  preparing for ministry.  He also hosted more than 300 of them in once-a-week brown bag lunch groups in his office.  From those exchanges his insights appear in of Men Under Construction.  Below you can click for a free downloading of Walk On!
